Temples of Angkor

The temples of Angkor are the heart and the soul of the Kingdom of Cambodia, a source of inspiration and national pride to all khmers.

They are situated at the captial of Cambodia's ancient Khmer empire, which were the political, religious and social centre that stretched from Burma to Vietnam and a city that boasted a population of one million when London was a town of 50,000.

It was set as a World Heritage site since 1992. My pictures below serve it no justice, one has to be there to experience it and be completely mesmerized.
